Dr. Benjamin Wei is a thoracic surgeon at the Kirklin Clinic of University of Alabama at Birmingham Hospital. He also serves as an associate professor and program director of cardiothoracic residency at UAB Hospital. With 14 years of experience and a board-certification in surgery, Dr. Wei specializes in minimally invasive and robotic surgeries for lung cancer, mesothelioma and other conditions.
Dr. Wei has been working with UAB Hospital since 2013, and has assisted in developing resources for individuals in cardiothoracic and surgical training programs. Previously, he completed residencies at Duke University Medical Center and New York Presbyterian.
