Dr. Chalmers’ received her medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine in Pennsylvania after completing her bachelor’s at Dartmouth College. Before coming to the Huntsman Cancer Institute, Dr. Chalmers also completed an internal medicine residency and hematology and medical oncology fellowship at Rush University Medical Center.
Dr. Chalmers is currently an investigator at Huntsman, as well as the a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Oncology. Her primary focuses are medical oncology and thoracic cancers like lung cancer and mesothelioma. In addition to treating patients, Dr. Chalmers also continues her research through clinical trials and various affiliations, such as with the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer and the American Society of Clinical Oncology.
